WRITER

Writing my first book Brown Horse Turns Eagle began in 2012, as I returned home from a long journey of 8 years around the globe, crossing countries, islands, oceans, mountains, and wide endless skies.

Stepping in all four corners of earth.

The idea, desire and inner need to write, were born of a deep experience that left a meaningful inner-need to be spilled out.

I opened a letter-channel to share my story, desolation alongside joy and greater knowing of life through my travels; people, mistakes, decisions, and endless learning.

Life lessons I haven't read about in my childhood books.

The big world reached out to me at a very young age, riding my adventurous spirit, discovering new ways of living, lands, and cultures. I returned saturated with stories and experiences.

The foundation of the book was indeed laid in those days, but the writing was prolonged due to many interruptions in the middle- ups and downs, fiddling with day-to-day confusions, internal noise, restlessness, endless nights of stares, transitions between different cities and countless jobs, back to wandering over the seas, and returning home.

This time, in a different manner.

In a long and hard - but necessary, deep, and above all determined self-work, the self-reliant and uncompromising connection to me began.

My private homecoming.

And once my inner ground was indeed steady, and greened, I went back to writing.

The passion did not only burst in every direction, but had also taken a place of healing and proving, filling days and nights, hours upon hours, letting me to re-explore life, and expose discoveries that were hidden from view in the past - but clearer now.
But most, freed me.

I offer you a spark of my soul, exposed, sincere and shaky, entertaining, painful and liberating, loving and delightful,

allowing myself to touch your heart and the rooms of your soul.

Brown Horse Turns Eagle is inspired by my journeys.

Some of the characters are indeed inspired by larger-than-life people I have been blessed with their presence and words- that embrace love, connection, and friendship.

A piece of my life.

Some are still here.

Some have followed the paths of their life.

They are all remembered and loved.

The suspense twists are the fruits of my imagination, which directs this delightful tale to questions about private and national justice, injustice, color, traumas, and stretching boundaries

A story of hidden courage, self- defense, powerful desire and lust, pretense and freedom, nomads' life, devotion, revenge, and the giving of the heart.

The price of love.

Or the price without it.
